Re-Launch of the AVU Website

The African Virtual University (AVU) is pleased to announce the official re-launch of www.avu.org. The Website has been developed to directly connect the AVU to its stakeholders globally, and to promote public awareness of what AVU offers in promoting access to quality higher education and training through Open Distance and eLearning methodologies across the African continent.

The new website comes with a better, dynamic design and with tools that enable users to better interact with the AVU and contains detailed information about the AVU. There are dedicated sections for the AVU Multinational Project, Programs and Services, Students and a section for Funding and Collaborating Partners to enable them view current progress in various projects. The digital library may also be accessed from the site and it is a valuable resource to educators, students and researchers.

There will be regular Latest News and Events appearing on the site with various quick links to relevant features and releases for global Conferences and Workshops, with a continually informed knowledge base for Opportunities and Scholarships that may be open, in line with promoting the use of ICTs in Higher education. New features will be continually added to www.avu.org to keep the AVU stakeholders and partners informed.
